It has been about half a year since the
site has been updated. Nobody (even me) cares why so I will spare the boring
details. A few glitches and dead links have been taken care of over this time as
well as a restructured forum.
Exciting News! I have recently launched a
sister site to AlphaQ.150m.com,
www.tdh.150m.com. This site is for the
public Counter-Strike: Source server that I have created. [TDH] now has its own
server to use, sadly there are only 2 of us that play anymore, but that may
change. As I said, the server is now up and running (random internet people
have actually connected successfully). I'm running the Mani Admin Plug-in with
quake sounds as of now. The IP is 69.137.220.28:27015. Visit
www.tdh.150m.com if you would like to know
more information. You can also see current playing info on the right of the
main AlphaQ page. ----------->>
I hope you all will enjoy the most recent
additions to Must see internet... above. I will continue to add things I find
on the internet there. Enjoy!

My
girlfriend and I went to see Van Halen last Saturday. Got lost twice on the
way to the Joe Louis Arena, once in downtown Detroit, not fun.
Our seats were the third to the last row in the building. During
the warm-up band, all I could hear was jumbled bass and reverb off the back
of the building. $85 for a ticket and I can’t even hear the
guitar or singer...
So while my girlfriend and I are wondering why we wasted $170 to
lose our hearing, this guy that looks like a bouncer walks up to us.
He asked us if we wanted to sit closer, and that we just tell him where to
stop as he takes us down the rows. I figured it was some sort of joke
and pointed out that people will be sitting in all the other seats. He
gave us pass bracelets and we figured as long as we have our original
tickets there is nothing to lose, it couldn't be worse than our other seats.
So he took us down, past the floor seating, past the VIP seating, and onto
the stage. The only condition he had was to tell everyone that Van
Halen is awesome, which we already do say. We hung out with Van
Halen on stage while they performed. My girlfriend and I high-fived
most of them. I could see every chord Eddie played and see all of
their tattoos.
I've never heard of anything like that happening before. Next
time Van Halen comes to town, I'm getting tickets in the back, who knows
could happen again.

There hasn't been much to report recently. Might get to work on the
new Top Ten Lists soon. I'd prefer not to make them myself so they
will not be biased as much. Once more people start visiting the site
I'll ask for peoples opinions via a poll or thread in the message board.
I finally found the post about reverse racism in Magic: The
Gathering. You can check The Intranet for the link.
On a good note, the cops did not come this year during the July 4
weekend for the first time in a long time. This is probably due to
bitchy foreign neighbors moving away and lack of very loud fireworks.
Mostly just bottle rockets this year unfortunately. We did see some
people light a shell inside a watermelon. When it blew up it smelled
like watermelon flavored cigarettes. Anyways, we were trying to use up
all our fireworks because they are several years old. By the end of
the weekend we ended up with double what we started with from people leaving
stuff at our house. I don't think I'll complain too much about that...

Forum rules have been added:
Forum Rules
Nothing to hard to follow.
Basically don't be an idiot. I know it is the internet, but still try
to show some intelligence. While this forum will not match the
greatness of General Mayhem, it is free and uses little bandwidth!

The forums are set up
now. I'll add more boards if more people join and there is demand.
So far, I've created boards for reporting problems and for suggestions.
For now, all other posts will go in the General board. Feel free to
talk about anything at all. I'll create some forum guidelines and add
them later today.

Most of the material I have has
been added. I'll be working on finishing the forums, updated Magic:
The Gathering section, and some updated top ten lists.
I know I've got some weird neighbors, but this is one
of the strangest I've seen.

Some new items from the internet
added above. From now on I will not mention such additions in the news
section. Look for that section to change often. If you miss an
item don't worry, all old material will be placed in the "The Intranet"
section.
The message board is partially finished, however, I will be
focusing on completing that soon. I am also planning on some awards similar
to the Darwin Awards except this will be the Idiot Awards. Winners
will be people that have said or done things of incredible stupidity.
I've been busy lately with watching the Pistons win the NBA Championship and
Iron Man. Be happy, this is the first time I have decently updated a
website in the last 4 years. I hope to continue to do so.

Welcome to AlphaQ.com version
1.3! This site has been in development for roughly four years.
Twice I have completed the site. The first time I stopped working on
it due to a terrible web host (4mg.com). The second time I finished it
and promptly never updated it again. Finally it has been revamped and
hopefully will not see a similar fate as the last two versions.
The majority of the content was on the last version
that was last updated about 2 years ago. Comics, quotes and Magic
decks are all the same. Top Ten lists are still here, however, I plan
on creating new lists soon to replace them, as many of the lists are quite
terrible.
There are many new additions that should make AlphaQ
much better. The Magic: The Gathering section now has a very useful
list of links. Likewise, the main links page has been updated to links
I actually care about. Feel free to send me a link to your own site
and it will be added to the Links section. A large amount of the older
material has been archived. Even the old site format can be viewed in
the archives for those who care. Several new sections have been
created. Reality is a place where interesting and philosophical ideas
are explored. Look for more to come to this part of the site in time.
The new part I am most excited for is The Intranet.
What I have done here is compiled all of the interesting, funny, and stupid
things I have found on the internet here. There are many things
ranging from screenshots, to eBay auctions, e-mails, etc. As I look
through my hard drive more will be added. If you have any interesting
or funny pictures or links, we'd love to put them up there and give you
credit.
At the top of the main page you see a section titled
"Must See Internet...". This section will have the newest link or
picture I have. It will be changed often and the old items will be
placed in The Intranet most likely, otherwise the most fitting section.
Finally, a new message board forum is being
constructed. It should be up and running by the end of the weekend.
I encourage you all to join and discuss this site and anything else you
want.
Thank you for taking the time to
enjoy my efforts. I hope you all can find something interesting or
funny. Enjoy!
