The Dragon Ball Z Kid

I'd like to take the time to discuss a strange person.  A few nights ago Emily and I were working out and resting on my front porch.  The neighbors across the street, who call the cops on us every Independence Day, were having a party.  They moved out two days later so it may have been a goodbye party.  It may also have been a grad party for one of their kids.  They have lived there for 10+ years and I have never seen any of the kids, but 2/3 of the guests looked like high school kids.

Anyways the interesting part was this kid in an orange shirt.  For some reason he wasn't inside with the party.  I couldn't tell his age, probably between 13-17 is my best guess.  He walked into the next yard and took a bunch of rocks from the yard.  He then proceeded to throw them fiercely at the ground.  I could also see that he was making hand gestures to himself and talking to himself as nobody else was around.  At first we thought he may be trying to plan how to ask a girl out as he hid behind a tree when a girl was walking up the driveway.  He also may have been angry at someone and that is why he threw the rocks.

All of a sudden he started walking down the driveway into the street.  He walked across the street and up the driveway of a different house.  I figured he just wanted to walk around to vent, or think or whatever he was doing.  Instead he walks into the yard and looks into the window of the house.  After looking in the window he goes to the door.  I don't know why he would go to the window before the door.  Even if you knew the family really well, looking in a window is pretty creepy.  This guy might not have even known who lives there.

After his little trespassing trip he wandered back to the driveway of the party house.  He then proceeded to start punching and kicking the air.  It was like watching The Star Wars Kid, or some terrible rendition of Dragon Ball Z.  Emily and I watched in wonder at this kid.  We almost made some popcorn to eat as we watched.  He continued to fight the air for almost an hour.  People would come and leave the party and pass by him.  He didn't stop punching as they did so.  Occasionally we could hear him make sounds as if he was hitting someone.  He threw more rocks as well.

He went inside at some point, probably from someone grabbing him and taking him inside.  Its times like these that I wish I had a video camera...  I don't know if he was just a little kid, retarded, angry, sad, or just didn't want to be at a party.  It was definitely a very interesting show I must say.  Too bad those people moved away, never going to get a show like that again.  On the other hand, screw them for calling the cops on us every year, ignorant foreign people...
